The Role: Business Development Consultant

As a commission-based consultant, you are the strategic link between our innovative technology and the businesses that need it. You will have the freedom to manage your own schedule while leveraging our proven sales methodologies and lead generation tools to build a robust pipeline and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through targeted cold calling, value-driven email outreach, LinkedIn networking, and industry connections.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth discovery calls to diagnose a prospect's business challenges and pain points.
  • Solution Presentation: Articulate the ROI of our software by mapping specific features to the client's business needs during online demonstrations.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (C-level, Directors) to foster trust and drive repeat business.
  • Closing & Negotiation: Confidently handle objections, negotiate contract terms, and close deals to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.

What We're Looking For (Requirements)

  • Proven Track Record: 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (experience in a consultative or solution-selling environment is a major plus).
  • Business Acumen: You understand business operations and can speak intelligently about how technology drives efficiency and growth.
  • Tech Savvy: You don't need to be a programmer, but you must be comfortable discussing software functionality and using digital tools.
  • Self-Starter Mentality: You are disciplined, organized, and can work independently without a manager micromanaging you.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; ability to build rapport quickly and establish credibility with senior executives.
  • Equipment: Reliable high-speed internet, a laptop/desktop with a webcam, and a quiet workspace.
